The Andy & Emily story so far...
It started with a convo at Coles & a recording session...
We first met in the most random way* back in 2012, and a conversation revealed that we were both musicians. At the time, Emily was studying audio engineering and needed some studio practice, so she invited Andy in to record some of his solo covers.
From there, we became friends, with our original bands playing shows together along the way. In 2016, we finally decided to work together as a duo, and Andy & Emily was born! Whilst honing our live performance skills playing in pubs, venues and at events, we gradually developed our signature sound: Andy's acoustic guitar, Emily's electric piano, and both of our vocals.

Then we discovered weddings..!
After a few years of playing live, we started performing at weddings in 2018, and instantly fell in love with it! We loved being part of such a special day and helping create the atmosphere from the first song of the day to the last dance of the night. It sparked a whole new passion for us, and weddings soon became a big part of what we do.
And then Emily learned to DJ!
In 2019, we had a lightbulb moment. Couples were loving our live acoustic sets, but they also wanted a DJ to keep the energy high and the dance floor packed all night. So Emily decided, "I'm going to learn to DJ!" With some fresh DJ skills (and some fun, colourful party lighting), so emerged our Full Day Wedding Package, giving couples the best of both worlds: live acoustic music and DJ entertainment from the same duo!
We've played a LOT of parties.
Over the past ten years, we've performed live acoustic and DJ sets for hundreds of couples, businesses, and private events. We've learnt how to read a room, adapt to the crowd, and create a soundtrack that helps the atmosphere build and flow naturally - whether that's relaxed background music, a packed dance floor, or anything in between.
